Thanks to its wide rim profile, this wheelset is optimised for tubeless tyres at lower pressures, which helps reduce rolling resistance and smooth out road vibrations. A 28mm tyre is recommended to achieve the best balance of speed and comfort. At the heart of its aerodynamic performance is the distinctive 58mm deep Sawtooth rim with Hyperfoils, offering exceptional stability in all wind conditions. Zipp’s Total System Efficiency framework underpins the design, addressing all the main obstacles to speed including wind resistance, rolling resistance and road vibration. The hookless rim design provides a cleaner interface between tyre and rim for improved aerodynamics, while also supporting a lighter and stronger build due to better resin distribution.
