The Giro Chamber III is a lightweight, SPD-ready trail shoe that blends downhill toughness with smooth pedalling power in a sleek, slimmer shape. A microfiber upper, Sensor rubber outsole, and a race-proven shank work together to keep you secure when the trail turns rough.Key Features and Benefits:Lighter and slimmer build: The updated shell trims weight to 480 g (size 43) and reduces bulk around the ankle. You ride longer with less fatigue and better freedom of movement.Clipless-compatible DH plate with 10 mm cleat setback: Extra rearward cleat position centre's mass over the pedal axle. You gain steadier handling on steep descents and smoother power transfer on climbs.Tri-moulded DH shank: Stiff zones sit under the cleat while flexible zones sit at the toe and heel. You push hard without energy loss yet can still walk sections in comfort.Sensor rubber outsole: Giro s grippy compound sticks to wet rock and slick pedals while resisting wear. You keep footing on hike-a-bike scrambles and extend sole life.Microfiber upper with Rock Print and rubber armour: The supple shell shapes to your foot while printed and moulded layers shield high-impact zones. You get a locked-in feel that stands up to strikes and abrasion.Velcro strap with tubular knit laces: Dual closure spreads tension evenly and works with varied foot volumes. You dial in fit fast and stop mid-run lace snags. When riders choose the Chamber III, they look for sure-footed control under high load. The tri-moulded shank, rear-set cleat slot, and Sensor rubber outsole combine to drive power straight to the pedals while keeping ankles safe from bounce and trail shock. Long-day comfort comes from the moulded DH EVA footbed that cushions harsh landings without softening pedal response.Secure traction, tuned stiffness, and low weight are ready. Lace up and put precise control at the centre of every descent.
