The Giro Chamber TR Shoes are gravity-focused mountain bike shoes built to deliver efficient power transfer, stable pedal control, and durable trail performance in a lighter, more breathable design. Developed from Giro s DH-proven Chamber platform, they combine race-tested stiffness with improved ventilation and reduced weight for long days on technical terrain. A BOA Li2 dial provides precise adjustment, while the optimised +10mm cleat setback improves stability and control on aggressive descents. The result is a secure, efficient shoe that supports consistent pedalling and confident bike handling across demanding trails.Key Features and Benefits:Tri-moulded DH platform construction: This downhill-derived sole structure creates a stiff pedalling interface that reduces energy loss through sole flex. Improved power transfer allows more of your effort to reach the drivetrain, helping maintain efficiency during climbs and sustained efforts while keeping foot stability high on rough terrain.BOA Fit System with Li2 machined aluminium dial: The micro-adjustable closure allows precise tension control across the foot. Even pressure distribution reduces hotspots and pressure points, leading to consistent comfort and secure foot retention during long rides and repeated impacts.Microfibre upper with integrated mesh ventilation: The breathable construction increases airflow while maintaining structural support. Heat and moisture build-up are reduced, helping regulate temperature and maintain comfort during extended riding sessions.Optimised +10mm cleat setback: Moving the cleat position further rearward improves weight distribution over the pedal. This increases stability on descents, reduces calf fatigue, and supports better control when riding steep or technical terrain.Giro Sensor rubber outsole: The proprietary rubber compound balances grip with durability, allowing reliable traction when off the bike while maintaining long-term wear resistance. This improves confidence when pushing or walking sections without compromising pedal engagement.Closed-knit ankle cuff with reinforced protection zones: The cuff helps block trail debris while TPU toe and heel guards add impact resistance. Feet stay protected from strikes and loose material, supporting uninterrupted riding on rough trails.Consistent pedal control and lasting comfort are central to strong trail performance. The Chamber TR achieves this through its downhill-inspired platform, secure BOA adjustment, and stabilising cleat positioning that keeps your foot planted during hard riding. Breathable materials manage heat while protective reinforcements handle repeated impacts and abrasion. Together, these elements support efficient pedalling, reduced fatigue, and dependable control across varied terrain. If you want a trail shoe that combines downhill durability with lighter weight and improved ventilation, the Giro Chamber TR Shoes provide reliable performance for demanding rides and evolving trail conditions.
