The Squish 14 Kids Bike is a lightweight, award-winning first pedal bike designed to help young riders start cycling with control, comfort, and confidence. Built with a triple-butted aluminium frame and child-specific components, it keeps weight low while offering a stable fit that is easy for small riders to manage. Backed by a 10-year extended warranty, it delivers proven quality and long-term peace of mind for families.Key Features and Benefits:Triple-butted aluminium frame construction: The frame uses varying wall thickness to remove excess material without reducing strength, keeping overall weight to just 5.83kg. This lower weight makes the bike easier for children to balance, steer, and stop, which supports faster skill development and better control.Child-specific frame geometry: The frame proportions are designed around smaller bodies, with a lower standover height and stable handling. This helps young riders sit correctly and reach the ground easily, resulting in a safer and more controlled riding position.Shortened crank arms and narrow crank width: The cranks are scaled to suit shorter leg lengths and hip widths. This allows a smoother pedalling motion with less strain, leading to more efficient pedalling and reduced fatigue.Short-reach, adjustable brake levers: Brake levers are shaped for small hands and can be adjusted as the rider grows. This improves braking control and confidence, helping children stop smoothly and safely.CNC sidewall rims for improved braking: Precisely machined braking surfaces increase brake consistency and grip. This provides more predictable stopping power, which supports safer riding as skills improve.Fully enclosed chainguard: The chainguard covers moving parts to protect fingers and clothing. This reduces the risk of snags or contact, making everyday riding safer and easier to manage.A first pedal bike needs to remove barriers to learning while staying safe and durable. The Squish 14 focuses on low weight, correct sizing, and simple control points that suit young riders. Each design choice supports stable handling, easy pedalling, and reliable braking, helping children build coordination and independence without unnecessary complexity. With its proven design, child-focused engineering, and long warranty support, the Squish 14 is a practical step into pedal riding. It offers a balanced blend of light weight, safety features, and lasting quality that makes it easy to choose with confidence.Sizing: The 14" Squish bike is recommended for children aged 3+, with a minimum inside leg measurement of 40cm and a minimum height of 98cm (3'3").
