The Ridgeback Nutz KC 2.0 x Lazer Kids Helmet is a lightweight and protective kids helmet built for balance bikes and first pedal bikes. It combines extended temple coverage, a quick-adjust Turnfit system and a child-friendly buckle design to improve comfort, fit and safety on every ride. The flatter rear shape also works well with child seats, while the low 250g weight helps reduce strain on smaller riders.Key Features and Benefits:Turnfit adjustment system: A rear dial lets you adjust the helmet fit quickly and accurately around your child's head. This creates a more secure and stable fit that helps prevent movement while riding. The result is better comfort, improved helmet positioning and more consistent protection during everyday use.Child-friendly buckle design: The buckle sits on the cheek instead of directly under the chin to reduce the risk of skin pinching. This makes fastening the helmet easier and more comfortable for younger riders. The improved comfort helps reduce irritation and encourages children to keep the helmet on for longer rides.Extended temple coverage: Additional coverage around the temple area protects one of the most sensitive parts of the skull. This increases safety during low-speed falls and everyday riding incidents. The extra protection also helps give parents more confidence when children are learning to ride independently.Lightweight 250g construction: The helmet is 22% lighter than the Lazer Nut'Z MIPS CE, reducing pressure on the neck and head. A lighter helmet feels less restrictive for younger riders and helps improve comfort over longer periods. This makes it easier for children to stay focused and relaxed while riding.Insect net front vents: An integrated insect net blocks bugs from entering through the front air vents. This helps prevent distractions and discomfort while maintaining airflow through the helmet. The result is a cooler and more comfortable ride with fewer interruptions.Child seat-ready helmet shape: The flatter rear profile is designed to work better with child bike seats by allowing the head to rest naturally. This improves comfort when seated upright and helps maintain better head position during rides. The design also reduces pressure at the back of the helmet when used with bike seat supports.A secure fit and low overall weight are important when children start riding balance bikes or first pedal bikes. The Ridgeback Nutz KC 2.0 x Lazer Kids Helmet combines both with a simple adjustment system and lightweight shell that keeps comfort high throughout the ride. Extended side coverage improves protection in key areas, while the child-friendly buckle and insect net help reduce common distractions and discomfort. The flatter rear shape also makes the helmet more practical for use with child seats and upright riding positions. The Ridgeback Nutz KC 2.0 x Lazer Kids Helmet gives young riders reliable comfort, low weight and practical safety features in one easy-to-use design. Its adjustable fit and child-focused details make it a strong choice for everyday cycling, family rides and first riding sessions.
