The Shimano BR-M6220 Deore 4-Pot Post Mount Caliper is a high-power hydraulic brake caliper made for strong and controlled MTB braking. Its 4-piston design gives firm stopping force, while the compact Deore build keeps the setup clean and direct. It also uses Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil for stable braking across a wider temperature range.Key Features and Benefits:High-power 4-piston braking: The 4-piston layout applies force across the brake pads in a balanced way, which gives stronger braking control and helps the rider manage speed on steep or rough terrain.Low-viscosity mineral oil system: Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil stays stable across a wider temperature range, which helps the brake feel more consistent during long descents and hard use.One-way internal fluid circuit: The internal oil path is designed to make bleeding more direct, which helps remove air from the system and keeps the brake easier to service.Improved piston retraction: The pistons pull the pads back from the rotor with greater clearance, which helps reduce brake rub and supports smoother wheel rotation.Shim-less mounting bracket: The bracket is designed for quick set-up without shims, which helps speed up fitting and makes alignment more simple.Ice Tech pad compatibility: The caliper can be used with Shimano Ice Tech pads in resin or sintered compounds, with optional finned pads helping to cut brake surface temperature by up to 50°C for better heat control.Strong braking with a stable lever feel is the key reason to choose this caliper. The 4-piston layout gives the power needed for trail and enduro use, while the easy bleed system, improved pad clearance, and shim-less mount help keep setup and care simple. Standard D03S resin pads give a smooth, quiet feel from the start.Choose the Shimano BR-M6220 Deore 4-Pot Post Mount Caliper for dependable brake power, easy set-up, and clean Shimano hydraulic performance.
