The Shimano BR-M6200 Deore 2-Pot Post Mount Caliper is a compact hydraulic disc brake caliper for Deore MTB braking systems. Its twin piston design gives efficient braking power with a clean, minimal shape. It uses Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil, which stays stable across a wide heat range for steady brake feel. Easy bleeding, strong piston retraction, and shim-less mounting help make set-up simple and precise.Key Features and Benefits:Twin piston Deore caliper: The two-piston layout applies firm and even pressure to the brake pads. This helps produce controlled braking power with a simple and compact caliper body.Low-viscosity mineral oil system: The caliper is made for use with Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil only. This oil stays stable across a wider temperature range, so the brake feel remains more consistent during hard use.One-way internal fluid circuit: The internal oil path helps guide fluid and air through the system during bleeding. This makes maintenance easier and helps keep the brake working as it should.Improved piston retraction: The pistons pull the pads back well after braking. This increases pad-to-rotor clearance, which helps reduce rub and keeps the wheel spinning freely.Shim-less mounting bracket: The caliper uses a shim-less bracket for fast fitting and set-up. This helps reduce install time and makes alignment more direct.Ice Tech pad compatibility: The caliper can be used with Shimano Ice Tech pads in resin or sintered compounds. Optional aluminium finned pads improve heat dissipation and can cut brake surface temperature by up to 50°C.This caliper is built for riders who want reliable braking with simple set-up and easy upkeep. The 2-piston layout suits trail, XC, and general MTB use where steady control matters. The supplied G05S resin pads give smooth braking feel from the start, while Ice Tech pad options allow extra heat control when needed.Choose the Shimano BR-M6200 Deore 2-Pot Post Mount Caliper for dependable Deore braking in a clean, easy-to-fit package. It is suitable for front or rear use, comes without adapters, and works with Shimano hydraulic brake levers.
