Zipp 303 XPLR S Carbon Rear Wheel Tubeless The Zipp 303 XPLR S Carbon Tubeless Rear Wheel is the ultimate power-delivery system for riders who demand speed without sacrificing comfort on the world’s most challenging gravel sectors. By applying Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) technology to the dirt, this wheel tackles the four biggest enemies of speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration loss. The deep, 54mm aerodynamic profile is meticulously shaped to integrate seamlessly with high-volume gravel tyres, ensuring that your rear wheel doesn't just trail behind, but actively slices through the air. This design allows you to maintain higher average speeds on flat, windswept sections where traditional gravel wheels often feel sluggish. Ultra-Wide Platform for Maximum Grip The foundation of this wheel’s performance is its massive 32mm internal rim width, a feature that completely transforms how your bike interacts with the ground. By increasing the air volume within the tyre, the 303 XPLR S allows for significantly lower pressures, providing a "suspended" ride quality that soaks up fatiguing trail chatter. This wider stance also provides crucial sidewall support for 40c to 60c tyres, eliminating the "lightbulb" shape of narrower rims and preventing tyre squirm when you're putting down peak wattage on loose climbs. The result is a rear wheel that offers relentless traction and a massive confidence boost when navigating off-camber corners or rocky chutes. Bulletproof Reliability for the Modern Explorer Built to survive the rigours of competitive racing and remote bikepacking alike, the 303 XPLR S combines high-end carbon engineering with rugged, sensible components. The 24-spoke 2-cross build using Sapim CX Sprint spokes ensures a stiff, responsive feel for instant acceleration, while the brass nipples and carbon steel cartridge bearings are chosen for their long-term durability in grit and mud. Available with SRAM XDR or Shimano/SRAM Road driver bodies, it integrates effortlessly into your current drivetrain. Backed by Zipp’s Lifetime Warranty and a robust 135kg system weight limit, this rear wheel is a dependable, high-performance upgrade that empowers you to push deeper into the wild with absolute peace of mind.
