The Praxis Works Brodium G2 Flat Pedals are durable alloy platform pedals built for mountain biking. Their updated G2 design uses a low-profile concave body, a strong chromoly spindle and larger bearings for improved durability. Twelve steel pins per side provide secure grip, while the CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium body keeps the pedals strong and precise.Key Features and Benefits:CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium body: The body is cut from strong aluminium and finished with a glass-blasted surface. This gives the pedal a solid platform while keeping the shape clean and precise for dependable use on the trail.Low-profile concave platform: The 115mm x 112mm platform has a 3mm concave body shape, increasing to 7mm with the pins. This helps place your shoe into the centre of the pedal, giving you a more stable and controlled foot position.12 steel pins per side: Each side uses 12 rear-loading steel pins with pre-applied Loctite to help keep them secure. The pins provide grip between your shoe and pedal, while the layout can also be adjusted to suit your preferred level of traction.Adjustable M4 pin system: The installed pins use a common M4 thread and can be removed with a 3mm Allen key. Extra pins and 48 spacers are included, so you can alter pin height or replace worn pins without changing the pedal body.Updated chromoly spindle: The hollow spindle uses heat-treated, high-grade chromoly steel for strength under repeated riding loads. An 8mm Allen fitting also makes installation and removal simple, while compatibility with alloy and carbon cranks gives the pedals broad use.Larger cartridge bearings and Igus bushing: Each pedal uses two cartridge bearings and one Igus bushing, with larger ball bearings than the previous design. This supports smooth rotation and improves durability, while the fully rebuildable construction allows worn internal parts to be serviced. The broad platform and adjustable pin layout are designed to give your feet a secure and consistent contact point. The concave shape helps centre your shoe, while the pin spacers let you tune the pedal to suit your footwear and grip preference. The rebuildable bearing system also makes the Brodium G2 suitable for riders who want a pedal that can be maintained rather than replaced when parts wear. For riders who want a strong alloy flat pedal with adjustable grip and serviceable internals, the Praxis Works Brodium G2 offers a practical setup for regular mountain bike use.
