Colnago G5-X Force XPLR E1 Gravel Bike 2027 Built specifically for the demands of modern gravel racing and ultra-distance endurance, the Colnago G5-X Force XPLR E1 Gravel Bike 2027 delivers race-proven stability, refined power transfer, and all-day comfort. Engineered around real-world terrain and input from iconic events like Unbound and Badlands, this machine features a slacker head angle to extend the wheelbase and increase trail. The front wheel sits further ahead for maximum confidence on steep descents, while square-edge bumps are absorbed more effectively to keep you tracking straight over loose, unpredictable surfaces. A newly optimized carbon layup tempers harsh trail chatter to reduce rider fatigue without sacrificing responsiveness. When you stand to accelerate or power through steep climbs, seated energy transfer is immediate, lossless, and crisp. Engineered Frame Features and Integrated Utility Colnago has integrated clever storage solutions directly into the down tube, keeping essential tools, spare tubes, and CO2 cartridges protected from mud, water, and trail dust. By moving equipment inside the frame, jersey pockets remain free for nutrition and extra layers, eliminating the need for rattling saddle bags and preserving the aerodynamic profile of the bike. The front cockpit features the ultralight Colnago CC.01 Wide carbon monocoque handlebar, designed with a generous 3 cm flare per side for enhanced control through technical sections. Down back, the frame adopts a standard 27.2 mm round seat tube. This classic dimension increases natural vertical compliance to damp vibrations over long hours, while offering complete freedom to run aftermarket carbon, suspension, or dropper seatposts depending on race strategy. High-Performance Components and Race-Ready Spec Equipped to tackle demanding courses straight out of the box, this build combines SRAM's electronic wireless Force XPLR E1 1x12 drivetrain with a wide-range 10-46T cassette and a 40T crankset for precise, reliable shifting in all weather conditions. Hydraulic disc brakes acting on 160 mm SRAM Force rotors deliver effortless stopping power and modulation on technical descents. Rolling on a tubeless-ready Vision TC45 Carbon wheelset wrapped in high-volume 700x50c Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RH tyres, the bike provides exceptional traction, compliance, and rolling efficiency over deep gravel, mud, and hardpack. Finished with a Selle Italia Novus saddle, BSA 68 mm threaded bottom bracket, and robust Colnago thru-axles, the G5-X represents the pinnacle of modern gravel engineering for riders seeking uncompromised speed and adaptability.  Please note: Images are for illustration of colourway only.
