Maxxis Dissector Exo/tr 60 Tpi Tubeless 29´´ X 2.40 Mtb Tyre. Unleash speed and cornering confidence with the MAXXIS Dissector EXO/TR 29x2.40 MTB tyre. Co-developed with DH racer Troy Brosnan, it minimizes rolling resistance for ultimate velocity while maintaining tenacious grip. Its ramped center knobs boost momentum, and aggressive cornering knobs dig in for predictable handling. Perfect for dry, fast trails, it excels as a rear tyre, a balanced pair, or even front for lighter riding. Featuring EXO sidewall protection against cuts and abrasions, and Tubeless Ready (TR) for better traction and fewer pinch flats. The Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30-35mm rims. This versatile MTB tire offers excellent grip and confidence on any descent or all-terrain surface, including mud, sand, and winter conditions. Praised as a great rear tire, it provides an agile feel and a good balance of grip and rolling speed. It shows great durability on eBikes. However, the standard EXO casing is noted as being weak and prone to cuts during aggressive downhill riding, so a stronger casing may be needed for demanding use. MAXXIS Dissector EXO/TR Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40 MTB TyreUnleash pure speed and master every corner with the MAXXIS Dissector EXO/TR 29-inch mountain bike tyre. Born from a unique collaboration with elite Australian DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector is meticulously engineered to achieve one primary goal: to minimize rolling resistance and maximize velocity without ever sacrificing cornering control. This makes it an incredibly potent and versatile weapon for your trail, all-mountain, or enduro bike. Whether you´re flying down hardpack, navigating loose-over-hard terrain, or linking fast, flowy sections, the Dissector delivers a ride that is both exhilaratingly fast and supremely confident. The genius of the Dissector lies in its unique tread pattern. The center knobs are ramped to reduce drag, allowing you to maintain momentum and accelerate with less effort on flats and climbs. When you lean the bike over, the aggressive and well-supported cornering knobs—reminiscent of other legendary Maxxis designs—dig in hard, providing tenacious grip and predictable handling. This dual-personality design allows you to push your limits, knowing your tyre will hold its line. Its versatility is a key benefit, run it as a super-fast rear tyre paired with a more aggressive front, as a matched pair for a balanced and speedy setup on dry trails, or even as a front tyre for lighter-duty trail riding. This model is equipped with essential Maxxis technologies for the modern rider. The EXO sidewall protection provides a significant boost in durability, featuring a cut- and abrasion-resistant layer that guards against rocks and trail debris without adding excessive weight. The Tubeless Ready (TR) construction allows you to ditch the inner tube for improved traction, the ability to run lower air pressures, and a drastic reduction in pinch flats. Furthermore, the Wide Trail (WT) casing is specifically optimized for today´s wider rims (30-35mm internal width), ensuring an ideal tyre profile for maximum performance.Features:* Designed In Conjunction With Aussie DH Racer Troy Brosnan* Ideal For Dry, Fast Trails* Tubeless Ready (TR) technology for a secure, reliable tubeless setup* EXO sidewall protection for enhanced resistance to cuts and abrasions* Wide Trail (WT) casing optimized for 30-35mm rims* Versatile tread can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear tyre depending on trail conditionsTechnical Specifications:* Wheel Size: 29´´* Tyre Width: 2.40* ETRTO: 62 - 622* Bead: Folding* Discipline: MTB Cycling (Trail, All-Mountain, Enduro)* Compatibility: Tubeless* Casing: 60 TPI* Protection: EXO. tradeinn Bikeinn
