MAXXIS Dissector 3CG/DH/TR 60 TPI Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40 MTB TyreUnleash race-winning speed and unshakeable control with the MAXXIS Dissector 29´´ x 2.40 MTB tyre, a masterpiece of design developed in collaboration with elite DH athlete Troy Brosnan. Engineered to dominate dry, fast-paced trails, the Dissector is the ultimate choice for riders seeking to minimize rolling resistance without ever sacrificing cornering confidence. Whether you´re tackling an enduro stage, a bike park lap, or a fast-flowing singletrack, this tyre is built to accelerate quickly and hold its line with precision. The genius of the Dissector lies in its unique tread pattern, meticulously crafted to provide a dual-personality performance. The ramped center knobs allow the tyre to roll incredibly fast on straight sections, helping you conserve energy and maintain momentum. However, when it´s time to slow down, the sharp, flat trailing edges of these same knobs bite into the ground, delivering powerful and controlled braking when you need it most. This balance makes it an exceptionally versatile option for modern MTB cycling, capable of being used as a front tyre, rear tyre, or as a matched pair depending on your preference and trail conditions.Transitioning into corners is a seamless and confidence-inspiring experience thanks to the siped transition knobs that bridge the gap to the aggressive, well-supported cornering lugs. These large side knobs, reminiscent of legendary Maxxis designs, dig deep to provide tenacious grip, allowing you to lean the bike over and carve through turns with absolute certainty. This specific model is fortified with Maxxis´s most robust technologies for aggressive riding. The dual-ply 60 TPI Downhill (DH) casing provides the ultimate in durability and sidewall support, drastically reducing the risk of pinch flats and damage when charging through rock gardens. The 3C MaxxGrip compound offers unparalleled traction with its slow-rebound properties, keeping you glued to the trail over roots and rocks. As a Tubeless Ready (TR) tyre with a folding bead, it allows for a secure tubeless setup, enabling you to run lower pressures for enhanced grip and a smoother ride. The 2.40 Wide Trail (WT) design is optimized for modern rims with an internal width of 30-35mm, ensuring a perfect tyre profile for maximum performance.Key Features:* Designed and tested with professional DH racer Troy Brosnan.* Ideal for dry, fast trail, enduro, and downhill MTB cycling.* Fast-rolling center tread with powerful, sharp braking edges.* Aggressive cornering knobs for maximum grip and confidence in turns.* Tubeless Ready (TR) technology for improved traction and puncture resistance.* Burly Downhill (DH) casing with two 60 TPI layers for supreme durability.* 3C MaxxGrip compound for the highest level of grip and slow-rebound control.* Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30-35mm inner width rims.Specifications:- Size: 29x2.40WT- Etrto: 61-622- Tpi: 60X2- Bead: Folding- Weight(g): 1205- Compound: 3C MAXXGRIP- Max psi: 50- Tech: 3C/DH/TR. tradeinn Bikeinn
