Ramped center knobs slash drag for rapid acceleration, while squared-off side knobs provide tenacious traction in turns. Its 3C MaxxTerra compound, EXO protection, and Tubeless Ready (TR) design ensure puncture resistance and lower pressure capability for enhanced control and comfort. Perfect for fast, dry conditions, it´s ideal as a front, rear, or full setup for modern MTB cycling. This tire offers exceptional grip and traction, especially in muddy and loose terrain, making it ideal for trail, all-mountain, and enduro riding. Buyers praise its versatility, comparing it favorably to other popular models for its balanced performance. It rolls fast and efficiently, with excellent cornering grip and a surprisingly light feel for climbing. The tire´s design provides confidence on downhill sections and holds well on hard and rocky trails. While some note a slight transition gap with side knobs when leaning, overall grip remains reliable. Durability is good, though aggressive use can lead to wear on side knobs over time. Unleash race-winning speed and razor-sharp control on the trail with the MAXXIS Dissector 3CT/EXO/TR 60 TPI Tubeless 29´´ x 2.40 MTB tyre. Developed and proven at the highest level of competition, this tire is the result of a direct collaboration with elite Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan. It is meticulously engineered for riders who prioritize velocity without sacrificing the ability to rail corners with absolute confidence. The Dissector is the ultimate choice for modern MTB Cycling, blending downhill-proven grip with trail-friendly rolling efficiency. The core design philosophy of the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining superior cornering control. The center tread features ramped knobs to reduce rolling resistance, allowing you to maintain momentum and accelerate rapidly on fast, straight sections of trail. When you lean the bike over, a pronounced channel gives way to aggressive, squared-off cornering knobs that bite hard into the terrain. This provides a consistent, predictable feel and unwavering traction as you carve through berms and flat turns. This versatile tire can be used as a fast-rolling front, a balanced pair for maximum speed, or as a high-performance rear tire depending on trail conditions and rider preference.Built for the demands of aggressive riding, this tyre is Tubeless Ready (TR), allowing you to run lower air pressures for enhanced grip, improved comfort, and a significant reduction in punctures. The Folding bead not only saves weight but also makes installation and transport easier. Optimized for modern, wider rims, its Wide Trail (WT) casing ensures an ideal tire profile for superior performance. Whether you´re attacking a dry and dusty bike park lap or pushing your limits on a fast-paced trail ride, the MAXXIS Dissector delivers the performance you need to stay ahead.Features:* Troy Brosnan´s go-fast signature tire* Ideal for dry, fast trails* Tubeless compatibleTechnical Specifications:* Size: 29X2.40WT* ETRTO: 61-622* TPI: 60* Bead: Folding* Weight (grams): 861g* Compound: 3C MaxxTerra* Max PSI: 50* Tech: 3C/EXO/TR* Application: Mountain* Use: MTB Cycling* Wheel Size: 29´´* Tyre Width: 2.4. tradeinn Bikeinn
