Scope Cycling R6 V2 65mm Road Wheelset delivers race-level aerodynamics, low weight, and lasting durability, using Artech-derived design and Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics to maximise speed and efficiency on paved roads. Its deep 65mm rim profile reduces drag at high speeds, while the advanced carbon lay-up and reinforced structure maintain stiffness and strength under load. The result is a wheelset built for consistent performance, reliable handling, and long-term use in demanding road conditions.Key Features and Benefits:Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA): AEA uses advanced modelling to refine airflow across the rim profile, reducing drag across a wide range of yaw angles. This improves speed retention and reduces the effort needed to hold higher speeds over long distances, leading to more efficient riding and sustained performance on fast road sectionsArtech-derived rim profile: The rim shape is based on the proven Artech series, delivering optimised aerodynamic performance without added complexity. This ensures efficient airflow management and consistent stability in crosswinds, resulting in better control and reduced energy loss at speedLocal Reinforcement carbon lay-up: Strategic carbon layering strengthens key stress zones without adding unnecessary material. This increases stiffness for power transfer while maintaining a low overall weight, leading to sharper acceleration and efficient energy use during hard efforts23mm internal width hooked tubeless rim: The wide hooked rim supports modern 28mm tyres, improving tyre shape and contact patch. This reduces rolling resistance and increases grip and comfort, resulting in smoother rolling and more efficient power delivery on varied road surfacesScope R-Series Diamond Ratchet SL hub with SKF bearings: The hub system uses a high-engagement ratchet mechanism combined with low-friction bearings. This ensures fast power transfer and smooth rotation, leading to responsive acceleration and consistent drivetrain efficiencyMechanical labyrinth sealing system: A sealed hub design prevents dirt and water ingress during use in wet or harsh conditions. This protects internal components, reduces maintenance needs, and ensures long-term reliability with consistent performance over timeConsistent speed and control depend on how well a wheelset manages airflow, stiffness, and rolling efficiency together. The 65mm deep rim reduces drag at higher speeds, while the reinforced carbon construction maintains lateral stiffness for direct power transfer. The optimised rim width improves tyre performance, supporting lower rolling resistance and better grip. Combined with a durable hub system and effective sealing, this creates a setup that maintains efficiency and reliability across long road rides and repeated high-load efforts. This wheelset brings together aerodynamic efficiency, structural strength, and low-maintenance design in a single system. It is built to perform at speed while remaining dependable over time, making it a practical upgrade for riders focused on consistent road performance.Specification:AEA: Algorithm Enhanced AerodynamicsLocal Reinforcement carbon lay-upTopology OptimizedScope Tubeless Hooked SystemHubs: Scope R-Series Diamond Ratchet SLSpokes: Sapim CX-Ray 21 front, 24 rearSKF Bearings65mm Rim Depth23mm Internal width31mm External widthWeight: 1525gNo rider weight limitThree year warrantyLifetime crash replacementTubeless valves & tape pre-installed
